Sam Muirhead is a Film director who decide to use open source for all his film works. I feel this is vary much good initiative in Film industry to reduce use of copy righted applications and software's. Long time back Holywood directors used open source for a long time. Sam abundant all the copy righted software when developing Films in favor of open source.

He pointed that Firefox and Linux changed the open source world which are developed with competitors helping each other. Where as Microsoft, Apple and Oracle are fighting each other for patents. Now we have multiple web browsers which are developed along side of Firefox model. And Linux we have tens and hundreds flavors. Both are Open source and developed on community.
